PokéRogue Review: The Addictive Pokémon Roguelike Game

I stumbled onto Pokerogue late one night when I was looking for a quick distraction, and I honestly didn't expect to lose three hours straight to a browser game. As a lifelong fan of monster-taming adventures, the idea of mixing classic turn-based battles with high-stakes roguelike progression sounded intriguing on paper. But seeing it in action—and feeling the immediate tension of having zero Pokémon Centers to rely on—completely hooked me from my very first run.
